The fruit for this wine was carefully hand harvested from a mature vineyard located at the northern end of the
Tamar Valley on the western side of the river. The fruit was whole bunch pressed and fermented with light solids
in stainless steel tank. Ageing on yeast lees has added to the texture and complexity of the wine.
The aroma of this wine shows classical Pinot Gris characterists of pear, with hints of nectarine and nutmeg spice.
The palate is open and generous with the pear characters enhanced by a creamy textured. The fresh gentle acidity
balances the wine perfectly giving the wine length and a clean finish. A distinctive example of Tasmanian Gris.
Best enjoyed with seafood matched with richer cream sauces.
