Delamere Vineyards (“Delamere”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. It applies to your dealings with us at the cellar door, by phone or email, through our website, and as a member of the Delamere Legacy Wine Club or the Delamere Sparkling Society.

- Wine club details: membership, pack preferences, allocation and shipment history, and delivery instructions
- Order and transaction details: products purchased, order value, order history and delivery status
- Payment information: your payment is processed securely through our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our systems
- Account details: your username and login information, if you create an account on our website
- Correspondence: enquiries, feedback and other communications you send us by phone, email or through our website
- Website and technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and cookie data collected when you browse our site
- Proof of age or date of birth, where we need to verify you are old enough to purchase alcohol
We do not seek to collect sensitive information (for example, health information) and ask that you do not include it in correspondence with us unless it is directly relevant, such as telling us of a dietary requirement for a cellar door booking.

We collect personal information directly from you when you:
- Join the Delamere Legacy Wine Club or the Delamere Sparkling Society, or purchase wine through our website or cellar door
- Make a booking, enquiry or purchase in person, by phone or by email
- Subscribe to our newsletter or other marketing communications

We may also collect information indirectly, for example through Commerce7, our ecommerce and wine club platform, when you interact with automated emails or online forms, or from a delivery courier when tracking an order.
3. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose your information
We use your personal information to:
- Process and fulfil orders and wine club allocations, including biannual campaign shipments
- Manage your wine club membership, including preferences, holds, skips and pack selections
- Communicate with you about an order, membership, account or enquiry
- Send marketing communications about new releases, events and offers, where you have not opted out
- Verify your age before supplying alcohol, as required by law
- Improve our website, cellar door service and wine club offering
- Meet our legal, taxation and regulatory obligations
4. Who we share your information with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We may disclose personal information to:
- Commerce7, our ecommerce, wine club and email platform, which stores and processes customer, order and membership data on our behalf. Commerce7 is based in the United States, so this involves the disclosure of personal information overseas
- Stripe, our payment processor, to complete secure payment transactions. Stripe may process and hold payment information outside Australia as part of its global payment infrastructure
- Australia Post and other delivery providers, to fulfil and track your order
- Marketing agencies we engage from time to time to help prepare and send campaigns, who are only permitted to use your information for that purpose
- Our website host and IT service providers, to maintain and support our website and systems
- Our professional advisers, such as our accountant, where reasonably necessary
- Regulatory bodies or law enforcement, where required or authorised by law
Where personal information is disclosed to an overseas recipient, such as Commerce7 or Stripe, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
5. Storage and security
We store personal information using a combination of secure cloud-based systems (including Commerce7) and, for records not held electronically, secure premises at our cellar door. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.
6. Direct marketing
We may send you marketing communications about Delamere wines, events and offers by email, post or SMS, where you have provided your details to us and have not opted out. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time by contacting us using the details below.
